In order to upload, download, and manage files online, one needs an FTP account (File Transfer Protocol account). It is frequently utilized for:

• Website uploading to web servers
• Handling files on distant systems
• File transfers that are secure (using SFTP or FTPS)

Below are the steps to create an FTP account:

1. Log in to your cPanel account.
2. Go to FTP Accounts under the Files section

3. Fill in the form:

• Login: Choose a username
• Domain: Select the domain (if applicable)
• Password: Set a strong password
• Directory: Specify the root folder (or leave default)
• Quota: Limit disk usage or set to unlimited

Click “Create FTP Account.” The FTP Accounts table below will show the new account.
